Center Housekeeper Duties
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To create a service oriented team that provides the guests and
employees of the Georgia Center with a clean, well-maintained,
comfortable environment in which to develop their intellectual
and human potential.
Responsible for planning, assigning and supervising the work of
the housekeeping staff of the Georgia Center.
Managing the department within budgetary guidelines.
Hiring, training and on-going supervision of the department
Daily management oversight to ensure the facility meets
operational standards in all areas pertaining to public, office
and hotel space (MBWA).
Communication of maintenance issues throughout the facility to
the engineering department.
Scheduling, purchasing and inventory controls to ensure the
department operates within budget guidelines.
Participation in overall management of the Georgia Center.
Participation in special initiatives
This position reports to the Hotel Manager
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Good knowledge of hotel management principles and practices
Thorough knowledge of the techniques and practices used in
housekeeping operations of a large hotel or conference facility.
Knowledge of human resources policies and practices.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working
relationships with guests, staff and administrative personnel.
