Director Residential Center Duties
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties of the Director of the International Residential
Centers fall into four broad categories:
(1) oversee the staff, maintenance and operations of the
(2) coordinate, direct and teach UGA residential credit courses
during study abroad programs making use of the Center, as well
as have the ability to qualify for adjunct professor status,
teaching one course a year,
(3) oversee operation of Center office here at UGA,
(4) oversee handling of budgets of the Overseas facility, UGA
office, and study abroad programs directly under the director's
control as well as assist in fundraising.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Ph.D. The holder of this position should remain engaged in
academic research and student life.
Travel experience outside the US.
Fluency in language of country where Center is located.
Keen business sense, ideally some experience working in business
or a business degree.
