Reservations Manager Duties
SUMMARY
This is responsible administrative and supervisory work in
directing physical facilities of an educational services center.
Work involves the administration of facilities such as guest
residences, food service operations, and gift shops. An employee
allocated to this class of work is responsible for the overall
supervision of the clerical, custodial, and service personnel.
Work is performed in accordance with standard policies and
procedures but the employee exercises a considerable amount of
independent judgment in carrying out assigned duties and
responsibilities. Work is performed under general direction of
an administrative superior and is reviewed through observation
of results.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Managing room inventories to ensure the Georgia Center maximizes
the opportunities to provide lodging to educational program
participants as well as other guests of the University and
Georgia Center.
Set up and monitor billing arrangements for conference / group
attendees as instructed by the group contact or member of the GA
Center Management team..
Assist Hotel Manager in the creation of a service oriented team
that provides the guests of the Georgia Center with a clean,
well-maintained, comfortable environment.
As an essential member of the GA Center management team your are
required to report to work in emergency situations unless
otherwise notified by the General Manager.
Managing general inventory, room blocks, and individual
reservations for maximum revenue for the Georgia Center.
Ensuring all billing requirements are met for conference
attendees and guests of the Georgia Center.
Guest satisfaction through professional interaction, problem
solving and follow through with the guests of the Georgia
Center.
Participation in overall management of the Georgia Center.
Participation in special initiatives
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Graduation from an accredited college or university in an
appropriate curriculum and considerable experience related to
this class of work including some supervisory experience; or any
equivalent combination of training and experience.
