Reservation Agent Duties
This position is crucial to the success of the hotel and is
responsible for creating an outstanding first impression of the
Georgia Center of Continuing Education due to the high call
volume. It is important to provide positive image of the Georgia
Center of Continuing Education from the start by greeting the
guest over the phone and provide them with an overview of the
facility as well as a comprehensive description of the room
types that will fit their need to increase our revenue.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for handling incoming calls to the reservations
department in a professional, efficient, friendly manner. The
primary tasks of this person will be to answer the phone within
3 rings utilizing the appropriate greeting and following the
reservations script in handling the guest inquiry for hotel
Responsible for keeping accurate records of all paper
transactions and will be responsible for handling advance
deposits and keeping accurate records of all advance deposit.
All other specific task that will be assigned as needed.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school graduate. Hotel and reservation experience helpful.
Must have a sales technique, good customer service,
communications skills, and attention to detail.
