SUMMARY
Develop materials and implement training for 3 Grants
Specialist-I staff. Direct supervision of these staff, oversight
of mainframe data input, data analysis and report compilation
for OVPR. Special projects (internal queries & external
surveys).
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Direct supervision of three Grant Specialist-I staff in Office
of Sponsored Programs: Devise quality control monitoring plan of
work completed by GS-I staff. Decide work loads and monitor work
assignments, as needed.
Training for three GS-I: Develop training program for GSIs to
rudiments of rsch administration. Prepare, devise, create, &
gather training materials. Qualify training points so that staff
can know all skills required for mastery of GS-I position
Data Analysis and Assessment: Primary source of ad hoc rpts of
Access/UGA database for OVPR, colleges/schools, & depts. Provide
data for other UGA entities and the Board of Regents. Prepare
and desseminate all quarterly & annual rpts on UGA awards
Special Projects: Design reports that are required for UGA
proposal submission and require access to institutional data.
Primary responsible Office of Sponsored Programs staff for
responding to external surveys.
Special Projects: Design and/or re-design internal forms to
improve efficiency of work. Make the forms user friendly for
internet use.
Other duties, as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School/GED or Vocational Diploma plus 6 years experience.
