SUMMARY

This is the first in a series of five positions which increase in responsibility that is determined by subject expertise, program scope, and accountability for program performance.

A person allocated to the Program Specialist category performs professional level work within a program that provides outreach and educational services to a variety of clientele. These programs are generally external to the University and represent a specific area of interest.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepares informational material.

Makes presentations to program clientele.

Produces written reports.

Follows established procedures.

May perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Completion of a Bachelor's degree. No previous experience is required.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Entry level professional knowledge of concepts and procedures.

Ability to follow established procedures.
